I watched a science programme tonight. I am still intrigued by the very deep knowledge and analytical genius of man. Eliptic orbits, hyper eliptic orbits, the unforeseen influences of objects that exert gravitational effects that change them, and often cause a destructive collision. A plan to all this?. I think not. The 'laws' of chaos dominate the universe, scientists agree on this. Which brings me to the reason for writing this personal observation - why do we keep up the vanity-based presumption that a 'God' floating around somewhere in that chaos has our interests at heart?.  We are a biological fluke, caused by our early ancestors playing with fire by indulging in the sexual-thrill inducing acts of brain eating, and so altering our genetic structure untill we became the unbalanced genius we are today.  A long/short and tortuous process.  Shoret by the standards of the normal evolution of defined   species, but far too rapid in our case.

  Do we need religion, that man-made farce, to be decent human beings now we have established ourselves as the dominant species on this particular planet?  I think not. We have developed enough, in general that is, allowing for the retards and morons that still comprise the majority of the humans, to understand that we all desire to live in peace, to love and be loved.  To have children we can love and cherish.  To be greeted with affection and respect. To throw out fear and oppression, to share a satisfying love with a lifelong partner whom we can trust always and so grow as a copmposite whole. This happy state is of course idealistic, and yet so attainable to most of us.  Am rambling on because sometimes we all get that urge to self-express. And so I hit the keyboard.
